FSU in hot pursuit of Brooklyn TE/WR
Past history shows that if you're a dominant player in the New York area, chances are you are going to either Penn State or Maryland, or maybe even Rutgers.
But Florida State is trying to change the trend as they are in hot pursuit of Brooklyn wide receiver/tight end Lansford Watson.
A couple weeks ago, both recruiting coordinator John Lilly and linebackers coach Kevin Steele paid a visit to the Big Apple, and both left a lasting impression.
"We have an offer," Lincoln High School head coach Shawn O'Connor said. "We've been talking to them a lot. Lilly saw him on film, liked him a lot, and then came up. Kevin Steele came up. We saw them at the combine. They will come after him hard."
