From Geno's eyes, defense developing nicely

There has been a lot of discussion amongst fans and media alike this offseason questioning the potential of West Virginia's 'new' defense.

Will youth affect the squad?
Will adjusting to the new scheme result in inconsistent play?
Will the kids connect with the new staff?

While many of these questions showcase the typical mass hesitation towards change in college football, they are rather logical to ask. Although few have truly seen what the 2012 Mountaineers defense is capable of thus far, one man has seen it first hand and likes the development he's witnessing - quarterback Geno Smith.
