Tulsa Team Report

The Golden Hurricane's long awaited game at Notre Dame is less than a week away, and head coach Todd Graham knows the potential impact of this game.

"We're approaching it as this deal with Notre Dame is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us to get a chance to go to South Bend," said Graham. "We're going there to compete to win."

Not only is Notre Dame perhaps the most well-known program in college football, but it also brings a national television audience and the possibility that a Tulsa upset would make national headlines.

Said coach Todd Graham: "We've talked about what a win like this would mean. We want to compete for conference championships, but we need to take the next step, which is to beat a BCS opponent. To beat one that has the reputation that they have, it would be the biggest of my tenure here. It would be huge to win this game."

The Irish passing game will provide a stiff challenge for Tulsa's defense, which has been the worst in the country so far. Notre Dame averages more than 280 yards through the air, which is 18th best in the country.
