Cougars wrap up 2008 recruiting class

Due to a big assist by point guard Taylor Rochestie, Washington State has rounded out its 2008 recruiting class with the addition of Montverde (Fla.) Academy small forward Marcus Capers.

Rochestie, who is a junior, will give up his scholarship during his senior season to make room for the Cougars' fifth commitment.

An athletic slasher at 6-foot-5, 175-pounds, Capers should provide a key element to the Washington State attack.

Besides his visit to Washington State, Capers also visited VCU. Florida State, Clemson, Ole Miss and Penn State were also showing strong interest late in his recruitment.
