Mission accomplished for Katz

Going into last weekend, Ryan Katz had a number of offers but was still waiting for his first one from the Pac-10. The solid 6-foot-1, 195-pound quarterback from Santa Monica High School in California made a trip up to the Pacific Northwest for a couple of camps that he hoped would get him on their boards. Consider it a mission accomplished.

Katz first hit Oregon State's camp from June 23-25 where he looked to build off his last appearance in front of the Beavers coaching staff at the EA Sports Elite 11 workout at Cal. At the camp's conclusion, he got the words he'd been looking for.
