Taylor Potts shines in snowy scrimmage

While is has been a relatively turbulent spring for backup quarterback Taylor Potts, things have taken a turn for the better in the past week. Head coach Mike Leach recently stated that Potts has been outplaying incumbent Graham Harrell as of late. This was a boost of confidence for the young Potts, but if nothing else it gave him more motivation.

"Having the reps split up is only going to help me. It really gives me a lot of confidence finishing up the spring. Coach Leach is splitting up the reps. The more reps the better."

After a slow start today, the offense began to pick things up towards the end of practice.

"The defense came out a little bit quicker today. But we were able to stay within the offense and we got into a rhythm towards the second half of the scrimmage."

Many of the players were excited about getting back onto the field after a rough day yesterday.
