CB Dee Milliner is leading the nation with 15 passes defended (2 INTs and 13 break-ups). He, CB Deion Blue and S Vinnie Sunseri were Alabama's Co-Defensive Players of the Week in the win over Tennessee.
WR Amari Cooper was named the SEC's Freshman of the Week after his 162-yard receiving day.
Coach Nick Saban said that the Crimson Tide has no new injuries following this week's game.

RB Ronnie Wingo is working out at WR a bit as Arkansas prepares to face Ole Miss.
TE Chris Gragg is still working through knee soreness in anticipation of playing this week.
DE DeQuinta Jones has some sort of leg fatigue, and the coaching staff isn't shedding much light on the situation. He didn't play against Kentucky and is still resting after the bye week.

Of the 22 starters who played for LSU in the national title game last season, but only six -- Odell Beckham, P.J. Lonergan, Bennie Logan, Barkevious Mingo, Kevin Minter and Eric Reid - were in the starting lineup for LSU's win over Texas A&M this weekend.
For the third-straight week, QB Zach Mettenberger did not complete 40 percent of his passes: he was just 11-of-29, and averaged less than four yards per attempt.

Taylor Bertolet remains the K despite missing two field goals and a PAT in a 5-point loss to LSU on Saturday. .. A&M has turned the ball over 13 times in the last three games and has a minus-11 ratio in that stretch.
Athletic defenses have had more success in stopping QB Johnny Manziel: his longest run between the Florida and LSU games was just 16 yards. In all A&M's other games, he had a single run of 38 yards or longer.

Florida's undefeated season is in some ways a study in improbability. There are just six passing offenses less productive than the Gators, and UF ranks 13th in the SEC in penalty yards.
If the Gators can beat Georgia in Jacksonville this weekend, they'll be the Eastern Division champions.

Despite all its talent, Georgia's defense ranks eighth in the SEC in scoring defense (24.1), ninth in total defense (367) and 10th in rush defense (168), prompting senior safety Shaun Williams to call his own team "soft." Williams also feels that LBs Alec Ogletree and Amarlo Herrera should never come out of games.
According to coach Mark Richt, LB Jarvis Jones should play against Florida on Saturday, but DE Abry Jones (ankle) probably won't.

P Landon Foster received an honorable mention as punter of the week by the College Football Performance awards for his game vs. Georgia. It's the fifth time in eight games he's been so awarded.

Coach Derek Dooley has put QB Tyler Bray on notice. The junior put up one of his worst career performances (13-of-27, 184 yards, 2 INTs) and then didn't show for the post-game press conference, which upset Dooley. For his SEC career, Bray has completed just 52 percent of his passes with 21 TDs and 20 INTs.

C Joe Townsend was named the SEC's Offensive Lineman of the Week in helping VU beat Auburn, 17-13, on Saturday. His story is a good one: the Hendersonville native grew up a Vandy fan, and jumped on his scholarship offer, which came at midnight on signing day, immediately.
OG Josh Jelesky left the Auburn game late in the first half and didn't return. He's listed as the starter for Saturday's UMass game in an "or" situation with Jake Bernstein, who replaced him Saturday.
