UCLA to face No. 1 ranked, KU

The UCLA Bruins (2-4) will face the number one rated Kansas Jayhawks (5-0) at 2:30 Sunday in Pauley Pavilion as part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. The Bruins, coming off three consecutive losses in Anaheim, will face a Herculean task against Kansas. The Jayhawks return all five starters from last years' 27-8 team and have three probable NBA first round draft choices on their roster.

The Jayhawks like to run an up tempo offense and are averaging over 90 points per game, holding their opponents to about 60 points per game. They have routed four of their five opponents. They were, however, significantly challenged by Memphis in a 57-55 win on November 17th.
