Sleeper WR emerges in SoCal

It is tough enough to get attention when you are a sleeper. It is tougher still when you are a sleeper on a team that is losing; still there is a guy who is beginning to get some notice.

The player making noise is wide receiver Jarrad Shaw (5-11, 185, 4.48) from Playa del Rey (Calif.) Saint Bernard.

"Last season, Jarrad caught 40 balls on a team that only won four games," St. Bernard offensive coordinator Derwin Henderson said. "They had no passing game at all and this year we spread the ball a little bit more and I think he has 24 catches already.
