I like Penn and Philly a lot, but the graduate school experience is very different from the undergraduate one. The undergrads here mainly live/hang out around the school and I live in the center of the city (as do most other grad students I know). For undergrads, it seems like a work hard play hard atmosphere. The kids are extremely driven, but most of them seem pretty happy as well. The sports at Penn pretty much suck, but being in a big city you have pretty easy access to NFL/NHL/MLB games which is cool. Philly games in the summer are great. The one piece of advice I would give is to make sure you pick a school where you feel like you can have a good time AND be successful. You will be working for the rest of your life, so you have to take full advantage of college while you can. Also, the winters up here suck. If you can find a good school in a warm environment, don't pass that up! Good luck with your choices in the future...
