Psycho! Lol, just wanted to say hi and confirm I have no idea about the Kardashian stuff you asked about. Never had another screen name here. I'm sure whatever that was about is an epic story for the ages.
The thing I was talking about happened a few years back on another site - and I had no idea it even took place until at least a year later. Cliffs would be that it appears one (or more) folks started posting "as me" on a bunch of highly questionable places in sort of a "hit job"/slander attempt. Spilled over into "real world" when folks I know found what they had done and for a moment thought "wtf is this???"
It was kind of like getting 4channed. I give props to them as they did a grade A job. Some of it was mildly believable as they knew my name, where I lived, and my interests. Even copy/pasted (I assume) a bunch oft actual posts and put them in shitty forums for racists and perverts. Think of it as the equivalent of someone posting "as you" on Craigslist or something (though it wasn't that site) and making inflammatory posts in your name.
Whoever they were seemed obsessed with the fact that my wife was Asian so I assume that either bothered them for some reason or was just a factor they harped on. Shit was unreal...and unbelievably creepy. It's a weird situation when you have no idea who or why is putting that much energy into doing something like that. Then, for whatever reason they stopped. I guess they got bored with it at some point. Maybe because nobody (including me) had ever caught on.
Doubt that ever would've happened here but I had put enough of "me" out there on Rivals that when shit turned creepy here, I thought "nope, not going to attract the ire of any of THOSE types ever again if I can help it. Time to move on."
Weird thing is I've no idea what I did to those folks or what I ever did to anyone here to upset anyone, but oh well, not gonna worry about it. Out of my control.
Anyhow - always enjoyed you man and figured I owed you a response without bumping that thread here. |
