Irish1966,
its nice to meet you!
i've heard alot about you... and am hoping that you can do a little bit better of trolling than asking sterotypical questions about WV.
ever been to WV? per capa, WV has the best looking women in the US - if not the world. if it is the same DNA that produces this phenomenom, i don't want anything to change!

Work has been demanding lately, and I just got around to reading ESPN the mag's article called: Jimmy Swagger - by Tom Friend. It would be nice to have a job at Rivals.com to bless you all with my blogs, but until that happens, you will just have to frequent my page in order to get the latest blogs.

I find it amazing the amount of press coverage that one kid has gotten. Would the hype be there if he would have chosen USC? I doubt it. Is that why he chose ND over USC? I doubt it.

being rather "high" on myself, i really enjoyed Clausen's choice for his announcement. i would have done the same thing, if the opportunity presented itself. he picked the biggest stage, to choose one of the biggest schools to play for a coach that he felt, would take him to the next level and catupalt him into the NFL - something his two older brothers only dreamed of.

Charlie Weis has landed two great recruiting classes, and remember... this is his very first stint at head coach - not to mention, he had no college recruiting experience. although he has not been able to secure all his recruiting goals, he has been able to supply the young Clausen with an amply supply of YOUNG talent.

to think Clausen will start the season is mighty absurd; however, he did enroll early into school, has been watching ND game tapes for the past 14 months and with his intellegence, its safe to assume that he has digested close to 75% of the playbook. let the debate, on his start date, begin at the end of the Spring Game.

it was first reported that Clausen had bone spurs in his throwing arm. actually, that story was leaked by a taped interview with Armando Allen. when i heard this report, my jaw hit the floor (as a rapid ND fan)... then i remembered how quickly i healed as an 18 year old. then i read the report that Clausen took the field at the end of February and the ball "never hit the ground."

4 NC rings are a little far fetched. with FL and WV bringing back the teams that they are... it is almost impossible to believe that either of these two teams will at least see the NC game. that, coupled with the fact that ND will not even be in the top 25 in the preseason polls makes "Swagger's" dream - a pipe dream. but if Clausen is the starter by at least mid-season, and ND finishes better than 7-5... one can't help but wonder if "Swagger" can collect three NC rings.

only time will tell.

Darius Walker gone?? GOOD!
i think this was the best move for Darius, and the team. i like the fact that 70% of the starters this year will be fresh/soph. 2009 or 2010 NC?? only Charlie knows that!

been an ND fan sice I was 10... as my ND fan grandmother and I sat and watched ND defeat WVU for the NC in 1989.
