Pros: Wallace showed good movement and inline blocking skills. He has started both as a tight end and H-back, and has graded out well in all areas. As a receiver, he displays sure hands and is quick on the snap to get into his routes with good speed. He fights off the linebacker well at the line of scrimmage and runs precise routes with a good understanding of coverage. He is also able to turn upfield after the catch and will use his powerful leg drive to get extra yardage. As a blocker, he is able to get good movement on contact and knows how to use proper angles with good hand use and footwork. Cons: He is not a great athlete and his speed is barely adequate. There is little chance he'll break free down the field or elude anyone after the catch. Numbers: Played in more than 50 games with 41 starts, catching 63 passes for 829 yards and four touchdowns. As a senior he caught 20 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown. At the combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds. He did 21 reps of the 225-pound bench press and had a 29" vertical jump and an 8'9" broad jump. Skinny: Underrated prospect is capable of being a high-level backup or possible starter. He'll be a major steal late on the second day of the draft with the ability to be one of the better No. 2 tight ends in the NFL.
