Just days after announcing that he would be attending St. Thomas Prep School in Oakdale (Conn), former Manual star Jacob Jenkins has also decided where he will play in college. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard committed to Bellarmine University on Sunday and will sign with the Knights in the fall.

Jenkins is a great pick up for coach Scott Davenport. Jenkins went into the 2008-2009 season as one of the top prospects in the state. He played great last summer and many people thought Manual had a great chance at winning the 7th Region championship.

A foot injury forced him to miss 18 games and Manual struggled and finished the season with a 15-13 record. He had Jenkins had scholarship offers from several Division I programs, including Dayton, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Butler.
