Terrico White scored 19 points and David Huertas added 17 to help Ole Miss run away from Georgia in the second half and post a 69-47 victory over the Bulldogs in an SEC basketball game at Oxford, Miss., on Saturday.

The Rebels (15-11, 6-6) led by six at halftime and broke the game open by scoring the first 11 points of the final period. White started the run with a 3-point play on his team's first possession. David Huertas followed with a pair of foul shots and a 3-pointer from the left wing to put the Rebels ahead 35-21.

Huertas then answered a Dustin Ware bucket with another trey, and White ended the run with a jumper at the 16:49 mark, putting the game out of reach at 40-21.

"White and Huertas are very good players and they showed their ability in that second half," Georgia interim coach Pete Herrmann said. "They really put us in a hole with those early baskets. After that point, our guys became very fragile. We just have to go back to working hard and improving on a daily basis."

After spotting Georgia (10-17, 1-11) an early lead, the Rebels took command with a 7-0 run that gave them an 11-4 lead with 12:21 left in the first half. Huertas capped the run with a jumper from just inside the 3-point stripe.

Ole Miss held Georgia at arm's length for the remainder of the half, despite the hot shooting of reserve guard Troy Brewer. His back-to-back 3-point shots brought the Bulldogs back from a 9-point deficit to a 27-21 margin at intermission.

The lone bright spot for Georgia was a team-high 19 points by Terrance Woodbury. His fifth field goal of the game, a follow shot of his own miss, made his the 39th player in UGA history to score 1,000 points for his career.

The Bulldogs return to action Wednesday in a home contest against Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m.
