INJURY REPORT Tailback Eric Baker was shaken up in the second quarter on special teams and limped to the sideline, where his right leg was being worked on. He did not return to the game and was announced as having a sprained ankle.
Cornerback Marty Markett was blocked in the back on a punt return and sustained a concussion.
BANGED UP Defensive end Melvin Ingram played after his sprained right foot was deemed capable of handling it. He was shaken up on the last play of the first half, but returned to play, mostly on third-down passing situations. He had one tackle with one broken-up pass.
PRE-GAME Wide receiver Jason Barnes dressed for the game after straining his hamstring three weeks ago and missing the Vanderbilt and Auburn games. He did not play.
Quarterback Stephen Garcia sustained a slight left (non-throwing) elbow injury against Auburn. He dressed for Kentucky but did not play.
Left tackle Kyle Nunn did not dress. The bulging disc in his back shouldn't require surgery and he has had an epidural to help with the pain, but Nunn is still experiencing numbness in his right foot.
OUT THIS WEEK Tailback Kenny Miles dressed for the game but did not play, with a torn tendon in his right wrist that has limited him since Georgia.
Cornerback Akeem Auguste re-aggravated his foot arch injury against Georgia and has not played since. A decision on whether or not to redshirt him is expected soon.
OUT FOR THE SEASON Offensive lineman Brandon Shell will apply for a medical redshirt after playing sparingly against East Carolina and sitting out against Georgia and Navy. Shell had been dealing with a shoulder injury he had in high school and was recovering from surgery in the spring.
Defensive end Gerald Dixon has yet to practice due to a stress fracture in his leg. He is in line for a redshirt.
Running back Shon Carson is redshirting due to a knee injury. He had ACL surgery performed on Friday.
Running back Jacob Baker is recovering from a torn knee ligament.
