The field for the highly successful Heartland Hoops basketball classic has been announced. All games will be played Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island.

The games tip off at 9:30 with Sumner-E-M vs. Wood River, at 11:15 Weeping Water will take on Ravenna, at 1:00 pm Adams Central will face Kearney Catholic followed by Axtell vs. Ewing at 2:45 pm. Gretna will play Grand Island Central Catholic at 4:30 pm followed by Ralston and Chadron at 6:15. The night cap will feature Hastings St. Cecilia against Omaha Skutt Catholic, with tip off scheduled for 8:00 pm.

In each of its first two years of competition the classic has drawn crowds of over 3,500.
