Virginia opens basketball practice Friday and one position that will garner a lot of attention this season is point guard.

The two true point guards on the roster for the Cavaliers are sophomore Sam Zeglinski, who had an up and down campaign a year ago, and incoming freshman Jontel Evans, who arrives as something of an unheralded prospect.

But while those two players might not be garnering much in the way of national respect, they have plans of their own.

And Plan A is to hit the practice floor every day with the goal of making each other better players, and in turn making their team stronger.
