Washington on way to Oregon
The Oregon program has a strong history of going into the Inland Empire and finding so called, "diamonds in the rough" such as current New England Patriot, Patrick Chung. As the staff looks to add some depth to the defensive line, they have found another prospect who has been flying under the radar throughout this recruiting cycle.
Los Osos High School defensive end, Tony Washington will make his second official visit of the year to Eugene this weekend. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder previously visited UTEP earlier this season, but is looking forward to making his first PAC-10 visit.
Washington will be in Eugene by mid-day on Friday and will have a full two days to spend getting to know the campus, the town and the Oregon football program. "I get into Eugene just after noon and will be heading over to the campus to check some things out."
Coach Osborne and Coach Aliotti have been Tony's recruiters to this point and meeting them is one of the things he is most looking forward to.
