OrangeandBlueNews.com Here we go again Illini fans. The beloved Illini invade the Ohio State horseshoe, a venue where they have had great success over the past 20 years. Dating back to 1988, where the Illini under first year head coach John Mackovic, stunned a heavily favored Buckeye team, and beat them by 19 points. That would be the first of four consecutive "W's" for the Illini at the horseshoe that ended in 1994. In fact, the Illini were one bogus call at home in 1993 from running off seven consecutive wins against the Buckeyes.
