MORGANTOWN-Starting nose guard Scooter Berry anticipates a better defense this year than the one which left the playing field at Charlotte's Car Care Bowl last January.

"I think you will see a better defense this year than last year," he said. "I think we have improved. The offense has playmakers; they've helped us improve, too," said the 6-foot, 290-pound redshirt-junior defensive tackle.
