Aggies head indoors to escape rain
With showers rolling through College Station, Texas A&M took its only practice Tuesday inside the McFerrin Athletic Center to escape the weather and in doing so shrugged off a bad Monday performance. The Aggies looked much better in drills Tuesday.
"I thought it was a good, crisp practice with a lot better hitting today," said A&M head coach Mike Sherman. "We're cutting down the reps just a little bit. We've had quite a few reps in practice, so the energy level is a little bit higher and that's a good thing. I thought they did well today."
But one player that has been extremely strong the past few practices wasn't in attendance. Junior running back Mike Goodson didn't appear on the practice field throughout the morning.
