Three-star Waxahachie defensive end Gary Mason committed to Baylor in July but after a strong senior season saw offers from Kansas and New Mexico placed on the table.

After the season he took his first official visit to Kansas, and when he told JayhawkSlant.com, "I am going to look at Baylor and take a visit there in January," Mason said. "After that I will make a decision. It is down to Kansas and Baylor. I am going to compare the atmosphere of both places and see where I will fit in."
