Ziemba excited about future move to LT
It's rare for any true freshman to start on the offensive line in the SEC but Lee Ziemba has started every game for Auburn this season, earning freshman All-American honors for his strong play.
Ziemba will start his 13th game at right tackle in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Dec. 31 and shortly afterwards begin learning a slightly new position.
When spring practice gets underway in March, Ziemba is expected to line up at left tackle. He expects a short adjustment period switching sides but nothing major.
"I played left in high school quite a bit," said Ziemba. "I figured I'd never be able to play right because I wasn't used to it. Then I got to the right side and got used to that and now the left side feels uncomfortable. I just have to get used to it."
