Maybe it's the way he cuts, uses the stiff-arm, or the long strides. Could be the high knees, workhorse mentality, or the obvious one, the double-dozen on his jersey.

Whatever it is, the comparisons are already being made: Georgia redshirt RB Knowshon Moreno reminds some players, fans, even coaches of former Auburn great Carnell Williams.

Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville sees it. Throw defensive coordinator Will Muschamp in there, too. He's a believer.

"Same number, same running style … jump-cut runner," said Muschamp. "He is an outstanding player, a very explosive runner."
