Tebow is everything for Gators
Growing up in Jacksonville, Tim Tebow has seen his share of Georgia-Florida football games.
Saturday, he gets to start in his first, a fact that wasn't lost on the Gator quarterback during a teleconference with reporters Monday morning.
"I attended a good bit of them, six or seven," Tebow said. "I remember sitting out in the rain, in the cold. I remember having a lot of great times. We went whenever my dad could get some tickets. " When he leads the Gators (5-2, 3-2) onto the field at Alltel Stadium Saturday against the Bulldogs (5-2, 3-2), he'll not only do so as Florida's main man, but the player Georgia's defense will have to contain in order to defeat the defending national champs.
But that might be easier said than done.
Tebow has lived up to - and in some cases surpassed - many of the expectations levied upon him.
