Friday practice starts and ends early
The UA was back in action on Friday, but not for long. Arizona moved up its practice from its scheduled time of 5:45pm to 4:30pm, and it's a good thing that decision was made because practice ended at about the time it was originally supposed to start due a lightning storm nearby.
Regardless, the UA did get plenty of work in during the shortened practice. Fundamental and special teams work made up most of the session, one that saw the team wearing shells instead of full pads.
During punt return drills, Antoine Cason and Mike Thomas were getting most of the work with the main return team, while William Wright and Mike Turner practiced catching punts off to the side.
