The Utes have been on a recruiting tear this past week with the addition of three new commits to the class of 2008. Just when it appeared that coach Whit might be slowing things down a bit, a new commitment arrived from an in-state prospect that the Utes have been high on for a while. With the latest commitment, Utah can now claim a 3-star ranked prospect in the rapidly growing list of verbal commitments as the Whittingham regime battles for in-state supremacy.

It has been believed for a couple of weeks now that Bingham guard Derek Tuimauga could potentially pull the trigger any day and make Gary Andersen a happy man. Evidently, that day was today.
