There is no doubt that two of the most interesting story lines to follow this spring are in the Oklahoma backfield. Between the ongoing battle of Joey Halzle, Sam Bradford, and Keith Nichol at quarterback the Sooner nation has had a quarterback battle to watch for the second time in three years.
Meanwhile, the battle at running back may not be over a starting job with Allen Patrick firmly entrenched but that doesn't mean that players like Demarco Murray, Chris Brown, and Mossis Madu aren't in a battle. In their case it's a matter of who can get the second most snaps out of Oklahoma's impressive collection of backfield talent.
