Sooners go back in time to find DT

SoonerScoop.com Much has been made of Oklahoma's perceived new recruiting strategy for the class of 2008, but while that seems a bit unrealistic one new development took place in the class of 2007 today. That's because for the first time since Oklahoma has re-emerged as a national recruiting power the Sooners are signing a player after National Signing Day.
Interestingly enough, for the second time in a few months the Sooners are going to Lawton (Okla.) MacArthur's defensive line to find a player to fill a need.
That player is 6-foot-2, 255-pound defensive tackle Jordan Nix.
