Coffey ready to perform

SicEmSports.com Tuesday, Ft. Bend Clements athlete Elliot Coffey called coach Larry Hoefer and committed to Baylor University over offers from Houston, Tulane, UCF, and UTEP.
He played safety, cornerback, receiver, and running back as a senior, earning Houston Chronicle Second-Team All-Greater Houston, 23-5A Utility MVP, and unanimous First-Team 23-5A at defensive back.
He is Baylor's fifth commitment with NFL bloodlines, his father Ken Coffey played for the Washington Redskins, joining Matt Singletary, Cliff Odom Jr., V.J. McElroy, and Chris Francis. However, Coffey learned more than how to play football from his family.
