Freshman Orlando Franklin is expected to meet with NCAA Clearinghouse officials today to try and get cleared for practice.

But coach Larry Coker said after this morning's workout that he doesn't expect a quick answer from the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Franklin is being held up by two English classes he took as a freshman and sophomore in Canada. The NCAA is not weighting those classes the same as regular English classes taken in the U.S.

"Probably within the next two weeks (we'll hear something)," Coker said. "It won't happen today."
