Fast start leads Duke to 98-85 victory

DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke avenged its January loss to NC State Thursday night with a 98-85 victory at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The win came behind outstanding performances from seniors Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry, as well as sophomore Quinn Cook.

The trio combined for a monstrous 77 points on 21-of-34 shooting from the floor. Plumlee, who led all scorers, registered his second straight 30-point performance, while also adding nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks to his stat line.

Curry gave Duke 26 points, 18 of which came in the first half when he connected on four 3-pointers to help push the Blue Devils to a commanding 58-37 advantage at the break.
