EAST LANSING - Tom Izzo is pleased with his team's 18-4 overall record and 7-2 start in the Big Ten.

But the win-loss record of the Spartans may be the only thing that meets the lofty expectations of the Michigan State coach.

"I am not happy with enough," said Izzo. "I am happy with the record and that's about it ... anything that is okay, I am not happy with. I am really not enamored with some things. I am disappointed that our consistency hasn't been better. But with the circumstances and the injuries, I kind of understand that too. But I don't sleep a lot of nights because I have a lot things on my mind.

"And yet what I am most happy with is that I think the upside with this team is still there."
