Watkins making a case for a starting job
Jaylen Watkins didn't get the headlines all spring and summer. He wasn't most people's pick to be the cornerback starting opposite sophomore Marcus Roberson this season. That nod generally went to sophomore Loucheiz Purifoy, an upstart who made a name for himself as one of the best special teams players in the Southeastern Conference in 2011.
