KU would gladly welcome No. 1 ranking

JayhawkSlant.com On Monday afternoon, Kansas (24-1; 9-1) will likely find itself atop the rankings for the first time this season. Shortly before the Jayhawks dismantled Iowa State (14-11; 1-9), 89-66, top-ranked Ohio State suffered its first defeat of the season to No. 14 Wisconsin. Following KU's sixth straight victory, Bill Self and several of the players talked about the possibility of being ranked No. 1 on Monday.
