UCLA went up big in the first half, starting off the game with a 9 point run as the Beavers couldn't hit a shot to save their lives. UCLA was on fire in the first half and shot over 65 percent while Oregon State shot only 23 percent. UCLA turnovers kept it from being a blow out as the Bruins had 12 at the half.
