UPDATED: 2:27P.M. The Alan Major era at Charlotte officially gets underway Friday at 4p.m. as the Charlotte 49ers will host the Gardner Webb Runnin' Bulldogs at Halton Arena. Major isn't the only head coach making his debut Friday at Halton Arena. Chris Holtmann will make his debut for Gardner Webb. The similarities between both coaches do not end there.
