Sooners Targetting Nation's Best on the DL
In spite of Oklahoma's limited scholarships in the class of 2011 they've not show any signs of slowing down when it comes to offers along the defensive line as Jackie Shipp and Bobby Jack Wright with the aid of their fellow assistants have scoured the country. In their search they've uncovered one elite pass-rusher and run-stuffer after another, included in that early evaluation is current Sooner commitment Jordan Wade.
Many had questions about the very early offer to the 6-foot-4, 293-pound prospect from Round Rock (Texas) Stony Point, but upon his film hitting Rivals.com last week it became clear that Shipp had identified another difference maker for the middle of Oklahoma's defensive line.
The big man shows flashes of being a superior run-stopper in the college game and has the raw tools that could see him as emerge as an all-conference type talent moving forward.
