Just when it looked like the junior college December signing period couldn't get any better for Auburn, the Tigers turn around and are now set to host the nation's No. 1 overall prospect this weekend.

Five-star quarterback Cameron Newton, Rivals.com's No. 1 overall junior college player in the country, will take an official visit to the Plains Friday through Sunday.

Auburn signed two four-star junior college prospects Wednesday, the first day junior college December graduates were allowed to sign. Offensive linemen Roszell Gayden and Brandon Mosley both inked with the Tigers.

Newton could be next.
