Mazzulla mushes WVU to easy 69-43 win

WVSports.com MORGANTOWN--Reserve guard Joe Mazzulla gave the Mountaineers some pop, but a technical foul on Coppin State guard Lenny Young proved to be the impetus 6th-ranked West Virginia needed Saturday night as the Gold and Blue put away Coppin State, 69-43. The key action took place in a stint of 6 1/2 first-half minutes after West Virginia was trailing 13-11. The Mountaineers had hit just five of 16 field goal attempts (32 percent) up to that point. They were 0-7 from three.
