EAST LANSING - Michigan State played their best game of the 2009 season against Iowa on Saturday despite coming up short in a thrilling 15-13 Big Ten classic.

After the game was over SpartanMag.com staffers Jim Comparoni and Paul Konyndyk retreated to the press box at Spartan Stadium to give their thoughts on a game that featured an outstanding performance from the Spartan defensive line.

Among the topics discussed by Comparoni and Konyndyk was the play of the Spartan defensive line, the clutch fourth-quarter performance of sophomore quarterback Kirk Cousins, and some of the breaks that went against Michigan State during their game against the No. 7 ranked Hawkeyes.
